Which board of education does DPS Aburoad follow?
DPS Aburoad is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Our curriculum aligns with CBSE guidelines while incorporating additional enrichment programmes, international exposure, and DPS Society-designed learning frameworks.
What grades does DPS Aburoad offer?
We cater to students from Nursery through Class XII — covering the full school journey in one institution. Families do not need to change schools as their children grow.
Is the school affiliated with the Delhi Public School Society?
Yes. DPS Aburoad is the first and only school in Rajasthan to be established directly by the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. This means we operate under the same curriculum framework, teacher training standards, and quality guidelines as DPS schools across India.
What is the medium of instruction?
English is the primary medium of instruction at DPS Aburoad. Hindi is taught as a compulsory subject, and students are encouraged to pursue a foreign language (such as French or German) as their third language option.
Is boarding available for girls?
Currently, our residential facility is available for boys only, from Grades 5 to 11. We are actively working to expand our boarding facilities. For updates, please contact our admissions team directly.
How safe is the campus? What security measures are in place?
Safety is our highest priority. Our campus features 24×7 CCTV surveillance, secured entry and exit points with visitor management, GPS-enabled school transport, a trained security team, an on-campus infirmary, and a dedicated pastoral care cell. We take both physical safety and emotional wellbeing seriously.
How large are the class sizes?
We maintain manageable class sizes to ensure every student receives individual attention from their teacher. Our student-to-teacher ratio allows for meaningful interaction, personalised feedback, and genuine mentoring relationships.
What sports facilities are available?
Our 20+ acre campus includes a cricket ground, football field, basketball court, volleyball court, swimming pool, athletics track, and indoor games area. All sports are coached by trained professional coaches. Students participate in inter-school competitions, district-level events, and national sporting programmes.
Do you offer school transport?
Yes. GPS-enabled school buses cover major routes serving Abu Road, Pindwara, and surrounding areas. All buses are staffed with trained drivers and escorts. For specific route information, please contact the school office.
What is the fee structure?
Fee structures vary by grade level and whether the student is a day scholar or boarder. Full details are available on our Fee Structure page, or contact our admissions team for a personalised breakdown. We believe in complete fee transparency — there are no hidden costs.
How do I apply for admission?
You can begin the admission process by: (1) submitting an online enquiry form on this page, (2) calling us at +91 9509928818, or (3) visiting our campus in person. Our admissions team will guide you through each subsequent step — registration, documentation, and orientation.
Can I visit the campus before deciding?
Absolutely — and we strongly encourage it. Guided campus tours are available Monday through Saturday. Our admissions team will personally show you around, answer your questions, and help you understand what life at DPS Aburoad looks like for your child. To book a visit, call us or fill in the enquiry form.
Are there any scholarships or fee concessions available?
For information on any available scholarships, merit-based concessions, or sibling discounts, please speak directly with our admissions team. We handle these conversations with sensitivity and confidentiality.
What co-curricular activities are offered?
DPS Aburoad offers a rich co-curricular programme including music, dance, visual arts, drama, robotics club, science club, literary club, environmental club, and more. Students are also organised into Houses and participate in inter-house competitions throughout the year.
Is there a foreign language programme?
Yes. We have a dedicated Foreign Languages Centre where students can pursue French, German, or other foreign languages as their third language. These programmes are designed to build genuine communicative competence — not just examination performance.
